I’m a little strange but have always embraced it. Some objects have stories and, dare I say it, their own personalities. A few years ago, there was a trend. People used the keys from vintage typewriters to make pendants. They also made key rings.
To me, this was asking to pulling someone’s teeth out to make jewellery and I was horrified. Yes, I told you I was weird. So when I saw this typewriter in an antique shop I just knew I had to rescue it.
It still works and it makes me smile when I see it. It probably needs a new ribbon but seems to be enjoying retirement so I’ve left it be.
